About the Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is a clouded pink rather than a banded one. The color sits inside the stone like mist, moving from a near-white blush to a deeper rose without a clear line between them, and the surface often shows fine internal veils where the crystal grew.

It is the most translucent stone in the range. Light does not stop at the surface; it sinks a little way in and comes back softened, so the pink looks lit from within near a window and goes quiet and chalky in a dark corner.

How It’s Made

The plate is a 10" x 15" rectangle. Stone of similar tone is bonded with a clear epoxy resin poured over the pieces so the top sets as one firm surface, and the rim is trimmed with electroformed brass, real metal grown onto the stone and permanently bonded, not a leaf or coating that can rub off. Handles are fitted at each short end in solid brass. Rose gold follows the pink; silver sharpens it.
